Oddly enough - odd compared to his expectations, anyway - he kind of finds himself understanding the other. Even among humans themselves there's misunderstandings and different standards.. So he can only imagine how big the gap must be between humans and.. well, whatever the Arcana are.
And Inigo, if nothing else, always wants to have faith in people.
