And that is very important information, and also very worrying. Time to talk with other Oracles about this and see if they can Oracle any information about what the consciousnesses behind the Starquakes are.

Couple questions!

First, unrelated to Week 4 shenanigans, Altair is asking Allura here about the possibility of breaking the connection with his Arcana, and if he does want to go through with it, she's going to make the attempt - so what's that going to do?

Second, regarding the Week 4 Waking World rebellion - how plausible is it for the not-so-merry band of rebels + Travelers to actually take the foundry? And if they do pull it off, how swift will the retaliation be, and/or how far into the city might they plausibly be able to push before getting crushed?

Taking it should be within the Travelers' power. Holding it would not be - Diabolin retaliation might be delayed by as much as a day or two, but if their ground forces had trouble retaking it they'd pull back and use radioactive artillery bombardment. Their best chance is to take the factory, loot it, wreck it, and scatter.

If they push into the city as quickly as they can, they might be able to make it all the way to the local palace, but they'd take absolutely brutal losses on the way, as attacks on the Palace are something the Diabolin expect and prepare for.

If there isn't anything more he can get from that, just say so! Otherwise, let's do the thing and see what he can learn. (Also, he's blind so he doesn't process things as visual information anymore, so if that would change things up for him somehow, let me know)

I think that would be the major takeaway! He could hear the Wills as two instruments at work in a space large enough to be designed for many more.

I was thinking more would it be plausible for them to overrun and empty the slave pens - I didn't actually think of the palace as within reason even for a suicide charge, given the sheer difference in forces available.

Repeating the question about what will happen if Allura attempts to break Altair's connection to the Arcana - even if the answer is "ping a mod as soon as the actual attempt is made", it'd be helpful to know before we get any further in the thread.

Oooh. Yeah, they could make the slave pens - the guards there are looking inward, not out.

Oh right! Sorry, lost track. Yes, ping us when that's attempted - there will be an effect, but it will not be a permanent one.

Another question, re: Lupa going Harbinger. If he reads his own will after this, will he be able to pick out any lingering influence of the Starquakes' wills within his own?

Yes, but it's latent, sleeping, when he isn't actively Harbingered up.

Would someone with a correct Archetype be able to use that to track the Starquake's wills back to the source deeper in the Dream somewhere?

That... sounds like it could work, with an Archetype that permitted that kind of tracking, yes!!

Is Asa going to be affected psychologically/Diabolin senses tingling following the slave revolt by Allura and Thae in the waking world, or is her body not in a close enough location?

She certainly could be! She might have a sense of vertigo, as if she's in motion, or a distant sense of loud noises around or nearby her.

Allura's main activity this week was leading a small revolt on the Diabolin Throneworld. The specifics of the revolt are still being threaded here, OOC plan is here and in comments to this post.

Allura died during the revolt, so she's going to be Dame Not Appearing In This Mingle for the upcoming week. She did charge Sara with taking up Shacklebreaker should both she and Thae die in the fighting (which they did), so she could do what she can to help the Adversaries while the Travelers are still around and then ~~hand it off to some watery tart~~ sink it in the Dreaming Pools to create Elfscalibur. Or find a sufficient ideological match to be Allura's successor.
