Rightful Heir - Noctis

You were brought to Londinium five years ago to learn the details of governance, but this wasn’t your first interaction with the royal court; High King Germaine has been mentoring you for a long time, and supports your placement as his rightful heir. You’ve worked for this all your life, and think you could be a good monarch - not as flashy as some, sure, but competence isn’t always flashy (or stable, for that matter).

You don’t want to believe your cousin is going to try to take your birthright, but you’ve heard whispers about it for a while now, and people like to talk as though it’s a done deal. Albion’s been at peace for a century, and doesn’t need another civil war; you could stop a potential conflict easily, by abdicating in your cousin’s favor. The problem is, you don’t want to do that…

(While all plot roles are important, this is one of two that will have major ramifications on the jaunt’s outcome. Please let us know as soon as possible if something crops up that would keep you from running with it to the end.)

Relationships:
Rightful Heir - You’re just as good as your cousin! Why can’t anyone see that?
High King’s Child - When you were younger, you wanted to protect them. To help them. Why are they set on taking what’s meant to be yours?
Master of Ceremonies - You’ve had to work with them a couple times already. You respect them a lot.
Former Druid /Possessed Former Druid - Their offer is… tempting. But could you really set them above the druids?
Rich Dabbler - … you might need some of that money they’re throwing around before this is over.

Plot Skill: Caledfwlch - Your uncle gave you this sword when he brought you to Londinium five years ago. He told you that it was forged by a genius of the smithy and that it was given to the High King’s heirs to carry since the days of Arthur. You don’t know if that’s true. All you know is that it can cut through steel or stone as if it were wood.

I'm excited to see what will happen, and try my best as an important role. Noct is absolutely going to love all of this as a dethroned king himself.

it's like we get to play our version of the new pokemon games in advance when we have a sword and a shield sheath as our plot skills and we're going to that location... yes, yes i had to make this joke/note somewhere but may be too early for this outside of this post.

So Percival is going to send both of the competent a letter about offering his assistance on the matter of succession and asks to meet them (... separately, not at the same time) so discuss details and give them time to mull it over.

Anything to report from week 1/plans for week 2?

Caelum has mostly been floating around the palace and city of Londinium, helping out people and one crazy ignis, mostly to get himself out there and around, good deeds to help his image and he does know the importance of knowing ones subjects.

But he did talk to Percival, and is inclined to take his offer, but demands that he be present at the summoning if at all possible.

sorry im so late and everything, ive been eaten alive by work and it took a lot more out of me than i thought it would, caelum mostly was threatening atlantic a little bit but is content with watching him from afar to see what he plans on doing, since atlantic seems able to be reasoned with

also maybe would like his support in the bid for the crown

Caelum is mostly trying to lay low after the captain of the guard got mad at him for running off to a private meeting without his personal guard and with one semi-crazy Ignis who followed him there.

He is checking up on Atlantic and going to a little subtly try and see who's side he can take and is disapproving of people just straight up using violence. He still doesn't completely trust Atlantic, but believes he could be a valuable ally.

also he put the captain of the guard to follow ignis around at the celebrations so he doesn't wander off and put himself into danger again.

But otherwise, he's just going through all the festivities, competing when he can because he does like doing that, and bracing himself for the probable fight between him and Weiss.

Caelum is now in the midst of preprations for the ascension to the throne, and is getting reprimanded by his guard Cenric, for being too reckless with the summoning. Otherwise he's talking to the Lady about the coronation and the possible conflicts atlantic and weiss might bring

im not sure about how or what the conflict will be with weiss though, since i haven't heard anything back
