In cases like those, the management would just suggest an abortion, and if Jackie originally was "okay" but his lover was "no way" it could definitely lead to a mem-wiping situation for his lover. I can see it lead to Beastfolk transformation for both if he was trying to get around it and respect her wishes for keeping the child alive at the same time by suggesting the child be sent down, and then everything snowballing.
