sup Yakkimort hows the warmongering trade going? Pretty good it doesn’t seem

Congratulations, your tiresome shenanigans have attracted the attention of someone who’s job is military logistics.

oooooh are they actually using Munghungwa Dynamics' munition plant? if yes, did they buy it from the competitor or are they using it as part of an agreement?

alsoalso

is Thorne an AEGISCorp employee, an ESDF employee, or another company's employee altogether?

I was suggesting industrial sabotage but buying it out (afterwards?) is cool too.

Thorne works for AEGIS, and liasons with the ESDF as an expert. Katsuragi is likely the same.

excellent

On the topic of AEGISCorp's payroll - re: Philip/Nina's concerts, 'the people who pay for your concerts work for AEGISCorp'. So is that AEGISCorp are paying the concerts, or like, some people who work for AEGISCorp have a side-business set up where they're paying from pockets that are separate to AEGISCorp? If AEGISCorp are bankrolling these concerts, how much information on the idol is kept in AEGISCorp's files and should Corentin have interacted with them in the past?

It’s a “wholly owned subsidiary” situation.

It’s unlikely but possible that he’s personally met Philip, considerably more likely that he’s met Nina, and almost certain he has a personell file going “yeah Philip is totes Nina.”

Is it open knowledge that AEGISCorp is the parent company, and for the purposes of this Jaunt does it matter who's on that management team or can it be assumed that they'll just do whatever this guy tells them to do anyway? eg if he wants a concert to be held for [x] purposes, can he make that happen by handwaving telling the subsidiary's management team to do it?

Not commonly known but easy enough to follow the trail of corporate structure.

It matters when someone wants to play Nina’s manager or smth and until then basically you can do stuff short of sending her directly into a warzone - it’s a civilian media company with the limits of such.

I suspect Thorne signed on at some point before Dara was ousted, because she wanted a chance to work with her CHILDHOOD REAL LIFE SCIENCE HERO. Honestly, probably part of why she needles Takumi (besides him being fun to needle) is because she's still disappoint that he's her partner now and not her CHILDHOOD REAL LIFE SCIENCE HERO.
