Making a note to self here that Grant comes to this conclusion because Rubelite said "In your search for the deeper causes of the Companions extistential panic, a panic I believe is due to an existential threat, do not mistake causes for effects." and has been doing some Deep Galaxy Brain thinking as to what could cause/require an army of Dreamers that don't feel fear and can constantly, instantaneously check in with each other.
This used to be Questing Country itself, due to the absence of Diabolin Dreamers, but now that they can do that (and despite hating Oracles, he's heard the gossip that Diabolin only started dreaming a few months ago, after the Ouroboros Retrograde, despite him being sure himself that he's been here for at minimum six months) and have effectively invaded Questing Country, Something Else is making an Ultimate Task Force in order to combat them - something that can self-check reality and not fear the new Nightmares that a Diabolin presence undoubtedly contributes.
