Mostly just lying low, talking to old friends, keeping an eye out for trouble without finding any. Planning to fix that last part next week.

In uniform, Stinger has been checking in on the Knights in general, training with Rosalie in particular. She's also been patrolling at night since she'd suspected criminal activity might increase with the influx of visitors.

Speaking of which, as Valerie she's been going around the city at daytime and putting up fliers while mingling with people in general and has noted that there seems to be more newcomers than she would have expected.

This week, he basically bothered people.

He bothered Melissa because he recognises her from old times. He bothered people who looked like they needed help. He bothered people because he likes them.

That's about it. :3 He considers this time well spent.

PERPETUALLY ASKING BASIC QUESTIONS REALLY LATE: so the whole dying-hawk-spirit-merge thing, does this make him half-spirit/half-human, like a freaky hybrid? Would he read as such to folks who can pick up on that sort of thing, hence the whole "your powers are useless" bit?

Ok, one more question. What would Mako conceivably know about the Ring? I'm assuming that it's not much more than the General Public, mostly because he'd probably zone out during that briefing, but I just wanted to confirm. What's the opinion of most of the Knights on the Ring?

The Manticore wants it, therefore it is good. MKs may suspect it is a first step towards war with the Spirit World, but if so, Spirits could prosecute such a war without the ring, and humans could not.

loss of life, yes, but we didn't devise details as it isn't specifically relevant to the plot - you are more than welcome to craft an incident that works for you!

Second verse, same as the first: loomed at people, brooded about the duality of his existence, threw a garden party which was... apparently not a success idk, Malik may have gotten a look at some briefings and I need to decide what was on them. Talked shop with Stinger.

I am so not on my game this week.

Anyway, Mako was doing more watching, but did end up accidentally pushing a suspect into a TV in Manticore HQ, killing her. He and John cleaned up, and there wasn't any video footage of the incident.

He was also on duty at the protests and wandering through some of the clubs after hours. (He didn't want to be at either.)

She was trying to keep the protests under control and patrolling the wharf when the shipments came in, serving as both guard and decoy for different boxes. Blackhawk has also made contact with her, and for the moment they both want to keep the peace while the Solomon Ring is brought in and assembled.

She is aiming to take Beatrice in for questioning, but I'm not sure what's happening on that front, and same with Steph following the shipments. If Steph continues to follow, Stinger would fight her. But the mun might decide to have Steph escape or use her superhero wiles to beat Stinger, I don't know.

Dealing with newly-Empowered shenanigans, thwarting heists (...possibly giving a guy amnesia in the process...) and steering well clear of the protests and the Manticore Knights for now.

He hung around and watched the protests in case things got violent enough to step in. He attended the White Company's recruitment garden party. He went dancing and actually somehow convinced Captain Blackhawk to come with him????

Also Phillip tried to break into his apartment and was caught and also saw Reynard in his foxform, but Reynard/Dan was really just kind of amused and nostalgic and offered some helpful lectures on the art of fine thievery.

For this mingle I'm planning on Blackhawk developing a serious case of side-eye toward the MK. If stuff can't come together for that among player characters, would it be possible to coordinate an NPC incident to make it happen?

Also is his sort of spirit merge thing typical or could it potentially raise eyebrows? I'm fine with it being standard, I just want to know for dealing with folks in general.
