First: Hm. It wouldn't look like possession, but there would probably be some unusual electrical activity in any Persona-user's brain, and more in a Wild Card's.

Second the first: maybe! That is, ending possession is not unprecedented. The easiest way would be an artifact known to have a personality itself, and dumping a lot of extra power into it - overwhelming the initial possession.

Second: if successful, this would result in Mako remaining alive - and unpossessed, or at least, differently possessed (because artifact possession could happen) - and Naoto waking up in Liminal Space, as herself.

ALRIGHT.

I have two propositions/options. The existence of the second will heavily depend on the outcome of the first.

1. Mako in his paranoid state (Everyone's possessed, holy shit!) is possibly going to see minor... strange things about either the King or Queen's (More likely the King, but option's there) behavior, and would try, while he is on security guard duty to talk to them and see if he can scan them. If this is just Not Possible, I am more than fine with letting this go. It is just... something that he would do, considering his mental state. Depending on reaction to that, I doubt he'd try to kill the royalty, just run the eff off. (In this section, I am perfectly fine with him getting killed for his trouble. Even if he gets no answers.

2. I have been working on the Artifact to pull Naoto out of Mako. If he lives through #1, he'd be likely to scan himself. If #1 does not happen, he'll definitely scan himself in his paranoia. I have two Artifacts for this.

Being the Exorcist Corps, there are many different ways of dealing with possessions and pulling spirits out of people. In their years, they have collected a number of objects to help them on their quest. Mako has found a combination of two of them. One, a laser pointer, that transfers a great quantity of power (and a Spirit) from a person to a receptacle. He is using a personal knowledge of electronics to connect it to a car battery to enhance its power, as these unknowing possessions are quite powerful and stubborn. His second object is a compact, one that currently has a trickster fox spirit in it. He believes that he can pull the spirit out of himself, and put it in the compact, and find a way to pull it out of the compact later. He knows the fox spirit, having dealt with it before, and knows that it is easier to get out.

That's what I have at this particular moment. I can revise any/all of this, and obviously #2 is heavily based on what happens in #1.

1) Their security would not let him start unsupervised physical contact.

2) that should work, although can we ask that it be a trickster raven, instead? for reasons.

however, regardless, he will only have a few minutes with the spirit (Naoto) in the compact before Naoto is pulled into Liminal Space.
