Addl question about Retrograde events... are they usually solved by something the Dreamers do, or do they work themselves out on their own, or some combination of the two? (I've said Stone lived through another one when he was a Champion, where the dreaming translation effect died and nobody could understand each other. Now MAtthew wants to know how they fixed it :P )

They're like opportunities. They will go away on their own, but finding a way to solve them is always possible and in some way enlightening or empowering.

Okie thanks ^^

Not-related-to-Retrograde-events question... about how many DReamers are there, all told, per era? Like in the thousands? The hundreds of thousands? The hundreds? Partyly trying to get a handle on just how much influence do the "senpai" oracles have, and the total numbers will affect that a lot, and partly trying to work out how many of the PCs from each age will know each other in passing ^^

The answer to this is not entirely clear - Questing Country is so vast that it's fully possible for two Dreamers to go decades without meeting, and so it's hard to get a grip on just how many there are. Certainly fewer than one in a thousand people in the Known Worlds is a dreamer, but probably more than one in a hundred thousand?

The number of Dreamers gathered in the Hushabye Meadow is certainly not anything like all Dreamers everywhere - it's as many as the Oracles near the site of the merge could gather together on short notice. One can safely assume that everyone knows several Dreamers not present, but as their dream-missions were in some sense near one another, it's also plausible to know most of the Dreamers from one's own era, especially as a long-lived Oracle.

Hopefully this helped answer the question despite not being able to give a specific figure.

The influence of the senpai is meant to be strictly advisory - these are the best-informed individuals on-site, and useful as experts, but not as authorities.

New question! The latest mingle has Oracles sifting through glatisant leftovers. What might they be coming up with? (Stone is in fact one of the Oracles doing this, and someone is asking :P )

The primary finding is the sentence in the mingle itself - the thought that created it! If he's looking for something else, we'd need to know what he's looking for before we could answer more.

Sentences like that have shades of meaning, particularly when in "idea" form rather than blank text on a screen :) Are there any shades of meaning attached to this? Like, is there worry attached to it? Wonder? Fear? Curiosity? Jealousy? Colors or images? Or is it basically like blank text on a screen, with no hints as to what emotion drove the idea?

Additional question... Naoya just described the under-the-lake place to Scarstin and asked if it sounds familiar at all. ... would it, at all? Or is it unique to the Traveling circumstances right now?

Oooh good call. This is very helpful. Wonder and desire, but not jealousy per se. It comes in a flash of multicolored layers of light. Images include waves of water, falling dust or snow, flickers of fire, and blossoming flowers.

Scarstin would have heard that there are deep places Dreamers rarely go, but this is not one he is familiar with - it's not certain if that makes it unique to Traveling circumstances or merely very obscure.

Awesooooome thank you!

I am presuming that the idea/impressions from the idea is the same when gleaned from each glatisant? Or are there variations?

The colors are not the same between Glatisants. Otherwise, much the same.
