Purpose: the Security Heuristic Invasive Navigator program is designed to make contact with hostile data structures and map their power, transportation, and information infrastructure via Data-Spike.

Purpose: this Research Program is custom-built to try and learn more about any quirks in Programs on the Grid that may have occurred due to their extreme isolation and extenuating circumstances. However, his somewhat lacking Priority may make this difficult.

Purpose: R15E is a basic helper program, designed specifically and almost entirely for mapping and serving as an early warning system against potential hazards. She is extremely committed to her role as an explorer and loves gathering new information.

Faction: Defender
Priority: 8 (recently upgraded...)
Purpose: ID disk screening, analysis and retrieval; investigation of corrupted individuals backed with a big axe.

Character: Shinjiro Aragaki/SHINJI (sometimes SHINJI-1, just to help differentiate between him and SHIN-G up there.)
Faction: Defender
Priority: 4, thank you Royal Treatment
Purpose: He's here to look after the Programs in his care and deal with known threats.

SHINJI's brother Program, AKI, is not on this mission. He's more likely to give requests than orders - if he's giving you an order, either he was ordered to do so himself or you done screwed up. There are occasions where he will either follow the letter or the spirit of an order - enough to fulfill the instinctive urge to follow commands, but not necessarily what the higher-Priority Program behind the order meant. (This has at least once included throwing another Program under the bus for giving him a bad order to pass down - 'they told me to.')
