Not much to add since this fits Altaïr so well lol. I'm trying to decide if he goes by Azul (El Mariachi reference), Antonio Banderas, both, or something else. His line of work necessitates subterfuge and gunslinging, and he's experienced and vigilant. He prides himself on being a quick draw (though not as quick as the Sheriff) and knowing the tactics of heists and shootouts. He has a rule of not killing innocent uninvolved civilians.

He's a very good teacher, patient, even diplomatic, but he sets the stakes high. If he sees a teammate endangering the life of another, he considers putting a bullet in their head without hesitation. Had he been with his old friend the Washed up Outlaw (Shiro) on the Amateur Outlaw's (Felih) first disastrous run, depending on the circumstances, he may well have ended him.

Probably visits Shiro every once in a while. IDK if the mayor knows him, but he does know of his smuggling work and turns a blind eye. To be so good in the business, Altaïr probably has a lot of connections and can hook you up.

Anything to report from week 1/plans for week 2? (The heist proper will likely be the first prompt on the new mingle.)

John Doe (Jacob Frye) is pitching an idea to Antonio (Altaïr) about drugging high ranking cattle handlers. In general, Antonio is setting up an information network, planting low-level employees, and roping in old friends to smuggle cattle supplies. He's recruiting civilians' safehouses last-minute and not telling smugglers every location, to throw Erebus off their trail. He tries to run a tight ship.

Azul received Faith's intel on red hour security glitching, her email, and her CB code from Taichi.
Going by Azul, he ran into Claudia as she hacked drones (during the red hour?). Likely he'll try recruiting her to handle any more hackery on this heist.
Antonio was up early to knock out any guards who weren't already dosed into sleep by whatever substance John Doe got.
Then he coordinated the actual cow stealing on radio from the rooftops, emphasizing not harming civilians, and only using lethal force on enemies when necessary to save one's life. Let's hope that worked.
Xena gate-crashed the heist by helping him as rear guard. Likely he'll recruit her as a guard.
He's not that great at good old-fashioned herding, so Asra helped him out.
He gave orders to "cuddle the hell out of each other" or risk freezing in the caves. It looks like Taichi is contacting him after he's made camp…

Plans: Continue to make sure his allies don't die stupid deaths?

Week 3 report

[personal profile] theflyingone 2018-07-30 11:39 am (UTC)(link)
Antonio kept up to date on weather reports from Felicia Wheeler.
He did his level best to keep order in the caves and pass along any keeping warm tips from himself, Faith (Bernkastel/Nabiki), and others.
On the second day of the cave snow-in, he had a hard talk with Taichi and confiscated some of his meds with the intent to ration them.
Faith dropped the charity cattle bomb on him via email, but I'm not sure how good the internet is in a blizzard cave situation.

Plans next week: No clue. Stay alive, herd cows, and anonymously disseminate the proof of Erebus's theft when he's in a better position to do so and not covered in cow poop.

Antonio took his lead from Taichi and helped organize cow distribution to the charity towns.
He's running with Sara's idea of bringing copies of the cows' paperwork, not necessarily because he believes Erebus toes the line, but because that might convince the townies to help hide cows and outlaws.
He returned to Ridge Rock and is offering places for outlaws or persons of interest to hide.
He put a bandana on his face and tried to protect Ridge Rock citizens vigilante style.
He was stopped by Erebus goons who were in turn stopped by the Sheriff. Dunno what will come of that.

Plans: I have no plans because he could be in a jail cell or injured or totally fine for all I know.

I give in, I need a Hint(tm).

Even if Antonio is perfectly fine next mingle, I have no idea what to do with him, except maybe protect Ridge Rock citizens. If that's all that's needed, that's a-ok, he'll do that in style. But if there's anything you wish the Professional Outlaw would do, or anything that would just be cool to see, I'm all ears.

Protecting Ridge Rock citizens is in fact an A+ place to start! Most of the Erebus goons are holed up there or converging on the town, and the extent of the sabotage on their gear isn't going to be apparent until the confrontation begins.

If you can grab Bookie, 'figuring out what the hell the sheriff is Up To' might also give you some traction.
