Also tbh I'm making up the sign language according to what feels right in the situation and that makes play a lot easier for me, I'd really appreciate if I could just be trusted with creating the sign language on the spot. And if there's something that should absolutely be done or not be done, you could just tell me so here?

Solution 3 and 2 will definitely be offered, I am honestly not clear on why it would want to create more of itself so I doubt that Solution 1 will come up. Is it okay if I offer different options to different people, or does it have to be one big prompt for for everyone?

The campus prompt is mainly so that anyone who found out Anna Monday is a ghost can investigate more. If you’d rather not, leaving ghostly traces of itself at its usual spot is another possibility.

Yes and yes; I had originally just wanted to leave sign language up to you, but then I... second-guessed myself and got scared that I wasn’t giving enough guidance. Whatever you think works best to get the messages across. Choose whichever options you want, but it has to be one big prompt for everyone on the rescue team. They can all see it, and they will have to come to a consensus on which to choose.

Also I did slightly more detailed descriptions of the lake and surroundings while threading with Red, could I incorporate them into the description of it? I assume that'll go up on the post?

I will need the more detailed descriptions just in case I should add something. Also, I’ve altered the original description to account for it’s shards having been messed with recently. So far I have:

"The Uncanny Valley's dense wall of plants form into a tunnel path. A wind picks up as the trees give way to scenic cliffs surrounding a deep lake. The skies overhead are thick with stormy clouds that are just a bit too violet to be real. The lake is strangely filled with the water-logged wrecks of cars in the rocking waves. Shards of glass from their broken windows float on the water. There are no Fairy Circles on land; they are all underwater.
Modern things like cars usually don’t feature in a Fae's domain, which suggests a human origin. Anna Monday has never been seen eating, sleeping, or anything else a living thing does to survive... It's time to call in an expert, but most EU staff know about Fae, not ghosts--except Fennel, the IT guy and expert on all things weird.
Anna Monday's been having a rough time lately, and its corner of the Elsewhere has grown unstable along with it. Without warning, the shards of glass begin flying towards the rescuers, circling back like boomerangs for multiple hits. The car wrecks come to life, honking and plowing towards shore like captain-less boats to run over anyone on land. And there is Anna Monday itself, rising out of the water. It will want payment for the perceived crime of invading its territory. Its bits of worn seaglass form into a message... The RA will want the official rescuers' vote on which of its options to choose.

So after finding out that the crows are kinda peeved at him for giving those shards back, he's gonna find out that the crows believe that if Anna keeps hanging around, her realm is going to start invading the mundane world, flying glass and all. He'll be going back to her to tell her that and suggest that if she wants to keep her shards/stay alive, she'd best move back to the other side of things.

Update: Two shards have been returned to Anna during week 2! Also it's made a friend who has come to talk to it a couple of times, which has made it quite happy.


About additional descriptions.

• Underwater, the water appears crystal clear, making it really damn hard to find Anna. And once one is in the water, it is absolutely impossible to tell up and down. The upshot of being underwater is that if one finds the ground, one can walk on it without the density of the water pulling one upwards.
  
  
• Above water: The water, now that she's out of it, is cloudy - murky, but more in the way of an overcast sky than in that of muddy water. The cars that get beached are corroded and wrecked, and some of them have underwater greenery hanging out of the broken windows, but they don't seem to be muddy, either.

Anna came back with Chloe during week 2!

She will also help Tachibana retrieve some friends (Sayoko, Hajime, and potentially maybe Kitty's overlay will tag along) at the end of week two.

And afterwards Dream-Eater will tell her that the crows want her to stay in the Elsewhere.

Hello, sorry, only just saw this! What would Nila demand for being the ferrywoman, just so I can consider Taurina's options?

I'm going to be honest - I've got nothing for week 2 because it completely slipped my mind with AC happening, and then I saw there were almost no comments happening in it since I'm guessing people were waiting for September to end before starting new threads.

I'm at a bit of a loss - trying to coordinate with Foxglove at the plants but I'm not sure that'll be resolved by the end of this week.

In the worst case scenario where we don't wrap up things of week 2 in time, what should we do? Handwave or play by ear?

Handwave and backtag? I need to know which of Foxglove's two options the rescuers would do to post the results on next mingle. Asking them OOCly and then backtagging whatever any of you want to actually thread on week 2 seems to be quickest.

Next week: It is a breach of the Treaty to harm the Changeling, but that doesn't mean questions can't be asked. The Changeling may Deal and gamble for information, objects, etc., but switching back with the Royal is off the table. Now would be a good time to come up with the Changeling's motive for this stubbornness. Meanwhile, this is a fine opportunity to experience college life before things get real.

Easteros will send a special agent (Safe Name: Agent Web) to briefly check in with their secret bodyguard, Argentum, and confirm Alayne's well-being at the college. Agent Web introduces himself as exactly what he is in order to get special visitor's privileges. He strolls around campus, poking his Uninvolved nose everywhere. He is bog-standard human, smooth, and unsettlingly competent, keeping up a steady stream of communication with Easteros on his smartphone. His presence is a nightmare for Involved staff and students alike, exactly the kind of attention Fae and EU don't want. Not-Alayne will need all the help she can get to pass herself off as the true Alayne. Or maybe she will ignore the warnings and not care about the school being in an international incident, up to you.

It’s a tough world out there for a cute animal, and Ryo should take every precaution. Dream-Eater would know after asking the brick and stone: Nila's portals are always safe, and this makes them advantageous. Dream-Eater (or Ryo?) could pay Nila the Sorority Leader to safely take Ryo to the other world in a watertight carrier. It shouldn’t take long, so there should be enough air. After that, he’s on his own, unless he’s brought someone with him.

Next week: When Fennel tells the Involved what is attacking the rescuers, Anna Monday being a magical ghost rather than a Fae seems like a good theory to you too. Tell any Involved what you learned about Anna Monday being on the crows' to-kill list, the shards, etc. Advertise sales of nonharmful anti-ghost Protections, which most other people probably won't have because they specialize in Fae stuff, whoops.

One thing I was thinking was that she could ask to be given her tears? Like, for the rest of whatever period of time (maybe a set number of years, maybe the rest of her life), she won't be able to cry, because her tears will Belong To Nila.

Another potential option could be promising to make the Pledge to the Sorority, but that also involves being taken away to live in the Human Zoo in Elsewhere. May not be where you're looking Taurina, but it's there if you want there to be a more significant cost.

She got bitten by a werewolf to her right arm, consequences of that (apparently including meeting Lyall/Lupin) and everything else... are things I'll work on backdating along with a toplevel, that I still want to do ...but been dealing with rl stuff and some health things, that will ease soon and then I'll kick myself to be a lot faster with everything, sorry for the slow again. Either way, I'll write that toplevel today and go do stuff about the aftermath of the werewolf thing too to know how she's doing after that.

... Hello Agent Web, Argentum will surely try to convince him to leave asap, everything's just fine here. Sounds like fun for me, not so fun for her! She'll try to more or less secretly babysit his Uninvolved nose, wouldn't want him to ruin her 'everything's fine' statements by him getting into trouble... not sure how well she expects that babysitting to work but she'll try at least!
