I’m still working out how Circe is going to try and get him to die but Stone’s life might soon become like Final Destination.

I'd rather he not die until like... the end of the Jaunt if possible? XD I'm hoping to milk as much fun out of his grumpy, old caring-ness as possible. But I am totally up for shenanigans in the meantime. Injuries, near-misses, whatevs.

Her main avenue of being sneaky is trying to involve him in the wallflower plotline so it could end up that he keeps almost dying and Acantha keeps saving him through his fake ineptitude.

History was destroyed and once he is over being devastated at the loss, he will be furious. He will absolutely not believe Cain had anything to do with it, given Circe actively tried to get him to go away and has been trying to edge in on his role as historian with her "oral history" for a while now, and he's been working with Cain for a few days at that point and believes Cain only has respect for history and writing.

Less fury-inducing, he picked up a handful of people interested in learning from him! And so many of the new Foundlings show respect for him and his work! This is encouraging to him in a way he hasn't felt in a long time. He will be spending the next week working with them to start creating new tablets to replace what was lost, and spreading as much ire about Circe as he possibly can. How dare she.

Looks like he's getting Circe demoted (thanks for the council, mods, hahaha) and he's got several students working to replace what was lost. Which is more than he NEEDS really, but at this point until Circe is finally dealt with it seems safer, and with so many new hands to help out, they can spare the work. He's teaching Humansona to swim so he can't almost-drown again.

In the new week, he's planning to confront Branch and possibly Cain about some weird discrepancies in the things they've said and done, and hopefully catch up with the new seers, since all this Circe business has kept him really distracted from potentially putting the brakes on things they're proposing. Also, he's starting to come to the idea that maybe Days of Farewells aren't... right, period, unless you're really ready for them, because this batch of Foundlings seems to suggest that "getting rid of" your injured and sick isn't necessarily what the gods are saying. Plus, you know, Circe is all for this, and he's starting to think he ought to be against anything she says :P

Are you cool with saying that Stone sentenced Circe to the firewood job? She’d be pissed but if he protected her at the council she can’t really argue.

That seems pretty reasonable, yeah.

I... think? Stone has found out about actors? Two threads are in progress relating to it, but one started late and the other has been a bit slow since we got to the point of maybe finding out. so I'm not sure how he's reacting to it. Maybe I can say he had a heart tremor or something over it, so he retreated to his hut for a couple days to think it all over and not, you know, go full-on heart attack. (I'm just not even sure yet if he'll believe them... depends on how the thread(s) go.)

Otherwise, it's been a slower week than last week. No riots to shut down or oral historians to demote or anything. Mostly he's just been telling stories to anyone who asks, and working on tablets again.

Not-Stone-related, Riddick hijacked a spaceship and sent down a handful more terraforming hubs. Just to make sure that's included, too. He is prolly also going to warn Acantha about an impending sandstorm in their current thread, in case nobody else has warned the actors it's coming.
