Well, yes. But Circe is talking to the guy who stresses and overworks himself in a desperate bid to be helpful, and managed to pass out in a field, and end up with migraines and seizures as a result (which the producers have probably refused to treat, because it makes Acantha so much more pitiable).

He only wants to help everybody! He cares so much, and he's letting people down and and and--- aldkfjasl

Okay yeah that’s fair, and she probably has to use her Nice Girl voice to avoid stressing him out too much because if he knows how much of her hopes are riding on his storyline he’ll have a breakdown.

Nice Girl voice probably helps a lot, as are gentle directions on how to succeed (he worries she hates him whenever he intentionally has a bout of nerves and screws up anyway)

He's sorry he's so bad at this! Performing on camera is so terrifying!

Their conversations are going to be so funny because they both can’t stand each other and are under like 8 layers of acting.

It's going to be hilarious, yup. Just the snarky comments in their internal monologues paired with the contradictory actions!
