Thace is General Hacet, he's a skilled tactician and absolutely intends to win this war. He also has tried to enlist some spies to figure out the humans' bioweapon from them.

Pod is Doctor Juni a Rukh civilian who's here to find the answers to the bioweapon, and also to keep everybody healthy. Do not make her "Doctor's Orders" because she absolutely will do that if somebody's health is on the line.
