THE IMPERIAL SPY - KINJI

By order of the Princeps - and their order alone - you have been embedded into deep cover within the EDF fleet, and have worked your way into the Phileon Project's test squadron. The human "X-Pression" bioweapon has some... useful side effects that you used to aid your infiltration.

You used that position to break into the Engineer's files - and you suspect that the Phileon itself has clues to the location of the Consort. You are now certain the Consort is still alive.

But you weren't the first one to search for those files - the Engineer seems to be looking for the same, and forces within AEGISCorp were trying to stop them.

Trust no one but yourself and the Princeps. Protect the Engineer, and the Phileon - and the Phileon's pilot. It's possible if you succeed that the Ace won't have to die, and of late you would... very much prefer that.

Plot Skill - S-Tech Masque: You have S-Tech that gives you a human form (from any nonhuman one) as per Tiresias Syndrome, which post-Jaunt does not necessarily resemble your normal human form if you are normally human; additionally, your Alien form (which can be Aurigan or a subject species) is free.

Hell yea.

Literally all I can think is that this guy's human looks are all Kinji-adjacent, like- looks like him if you squint, but otherwise consistently different. So he has a nickname for Phillip so he can recognise him.

So I don't know if she knows he's an alien? But he saved her when she Saw Too Much and has somehow figured out he's trying to end the war. So we should probably hash out how much they know about each other since I have no idea how she would have found that out without talking to/at least observing him...?

An extended backstory idea - hopefully it's all hunky dory.

Kosmas has always been extremely loyal to the crown - this is a well-known fact, and previously he has been involved in diplomatic subterfuge on conquered planet-states in order to gather intel on the local climate and report back in order to quell potential uprisings in advance - either by force or by supplying what is needed. He's never been afraid to get his hands dirty for this role, and while he's so far successfully drawn the line at outright murder, he's able and willing.

For his loyalty and consistent work, he was allowed to be present at the diplomatic summit of Tharsis - and was one of the first infected with the X-Pression virus. His skills allowed him to escape unscathed, but he would belatedly learn that the "illness" he received would turn into a human, seemingly at random, and almost got him killed the first time it happened on the Aurigan mothership.

The Princess was probably the one who saved his life, in pardoning him and/or recognising the value of such a skill, and offered him the chance to put that weird virus to good use. He was put on a ship to Earth, bailed when he was close enough to make a stealth landing before he self-destructed his original Sylph, and was formally written off as KIA. As soon as he had the chance, he signed up for the war as it began, and has been Earth-side ever since, doing whatever is required of a high-profile pilot in order to deepen his cover.

(He fully expects to be tried and found guilty of war crimes if they all survive this, but he accepts that. It's his job, after all.)

After two years of killing his fellow Empire Kids he is very tired of killing people. He just wants the war to end now. Maybe revealing the Consort's aliveness to the universe will help facilitate that. If he can find the poor lady himself to send evidence.

Relevant random information:

- He has a variety of casual disguises; suits, dresses, other jobs' uniforms, a bunch of wigs and facial accessories and coloured contacts for when he interacts with other spies.
- The Texas affectations get dropped completely when he's reporting. Other accents might get put on but they're never as needlessly intense.
- """somehow""" gets double booked for a statistically significant number of tests. Uses this time to fake out on testing altogether and go bother other spies.

Texxant spent most of this week making one last set of general rounds, being social and normal and REALLY annoying to Katsuragi - he damn nearly assaulted the scientist in trying to get into his office, and it didn't succeed. He was prompted by Thorne to try and investigate Katsuragi's office, so he had a really good excuse it was not really good it was weak at best

Week two he will start spying on things in earnest, and start actively, if subtly, mind-reading people! I dont know if there's anything specific I should be asking about for it here, ahah

We cool. He's just gonna pack up his room over the course of this week in case OTHER people are less cool. But since he's likely going to be out and about doing spy shit for the Admiral then he's not going to be in his room much.
