Bando Refugee Spokespeople

Bando Refugee Spokespeople: Jeina, Raito, Mifeng. Tag Expectation: 7 tags/week (each).
As the En Zhenming Emperor besieged the Bando Peninsula, he sent the Imperial Dragon Of Water to unleash endless rains upon the rebel armies, slowing their response time. A surgical team of assassins killed the general and stole the dragon scroll - but the best summoners in the peninsula could not convince the dragon to aid them; the metal dragon was unruly at the thought of sharing glory, and the Emperor’s assassins were a step behind. Getting the dragon as far away from the peninsula as possible, as swiftly as possible, was the only sane alternative, and this delegation was tasked with hiding the dragon in a foreign land. Still hostile within its scroll, it is like an unexploded bomb.
Exclusive Skill: Delaying Seal. Masshuu taught the delegates a brief ritual which can be used to impede supernatural abilities with focused willpower. Once per week, use meditative and hypnotic techniques to delay one other being from using any supernatural power for up to thirty seconds.

And just to note, Raito will usually see himself as the "support"/"supplies" leader among the trio - aka, the self-appointed caretaker/errands runner of the refugee group.

Also, guys - who's holding onto the scroll at the moment? Is one person carrying it all the time, or would it switch between the three every so often?

Yeah, it makes sense for them to have different roles... I imagine Melissa would take on a more diplomatic role, as she's got experience with that.

Probably mostly just trying to get information about where would be a good place to drop/bury the chest from the former sailors. And trying very hard not to kill Kotei or his goddamn monkey.

Since it's going to become clear that these things that don't feel like ghost activity aren't, Jeina's going to be trying to find actual spirits to ask about what's going on. She's still the one usually keeping hold of the scroll most of the time and really hoping Mifeng has luck with the scholar.

Some things will depend on what MIfeng gets out of Ambrose, but her current discussion with Mifeng has her concerned that the Deepsong could have some sort of effect on the dragon so she's going to be trying to figure that bit out.

If she can convince the dragon, she is going to attempt to use it against the Deepsinger. Though this is obviously a fair sized if.

Anyway, Raito is currently checking up with his fellow leaders, and he's starting to explore the island with Mifeng. He's also doing his best to keep his brother Kotei (aka, Zed in his Infiltrator Persona) from discovering their true mission. He's succeeding so far, thankfully.

As for the Week 1.5 mingle, I do plan for him to do more exploration around the island, on top of keeping in contact with his fellow leaders regarding the scroll. He's also gonna try and practice some ninjitsu stuff, and there's a possibility of him playing big-brother-type to Saya/Pod some more.

I do see that there's plans to have the local pirates and merfolks come out of hiding this upcoming mingle, so Raito will be spending time with them. He'll be double-checking to make sure that there's no Imperial sympathizers - or worse, assassins - among any of the groups present, but he's also starting to wonder if this land might actually be a safe place to leave the Imperial Dragon.

And if Mifeng gets in touch with Ambrose's Infiltrated scholar, then Raito would wanna talk to him as well regarding their Secret - after, of course, making sure that he can keep a secret without endangering everyone

Depending on how his Week 2/3 threads go with Jeina and Mifeng, Raito might actually be talking with them regarding Ambrose the scholar. Either that, or he'd actually try and talk to the scholar himself. In either scenario, the Imperial Dragon may be addressed by name, at the very least.

Regarding Zed, however...depending on how that goes, Raito is either going to believe that his 'brother' is lovesick...or there's something far worse going on with him. If the former, he's gonna try and play Devil's Advocate (and maybe do the whole brotherly threat to Ciel). If the latter, however...it depends on whether Zed pulls the whole 'darkness void eyes' on him.

What will you be doing the final week?

Considering that Kotei is getting Zed exorised during the current mingle, Raito is going to be hanging around his older brother a little more than usual. Beyond that, he might be tempted to see if any of the Crownbreaker or the Pulao leaders might be willing/worthy of keeping the dragon scroll.

Part of that is simply to fulfill their mission. The other part is because he fears that if the Pulao captain learns the truth about the imperial dragon, she might strand all of them. And he doesn't want to do that to any of the Handle refugees that doesn't want to stay at the Shoals.
