These comments will help the mods shape mingles and plot events to keep the story dynamic and player actions important to the outcome. Okay probably a bit late at this point but Valdis will return to Crownbreaker and relay the information about the Deepsinger to Alosa and the rest of the school. She doesn't want the whale to die, but she doesn't know there is a cure(?) for Stricken yet. Considering how huge it was and the strength in its Song, she's not sure they can actually fight it though, so she might try to convince everyone that it's time to flee the island.
