When in Harbringer Mode, can conversations take place? If so, how disjointed/vague would they be?

Also, what would be the "goal" of the Harbringer beyond probably making storms

Harbingers in Harbinger Mode can speak, but cannot perceive others clearly, so they would be one way conversations.

A Harbinger might be more likely to speak to a landmark or environmental phenomenon.

A Harbinger who creates a storm might wish to, say, harvest the glass from its lightning strikes; or to water the local plant life, or to drive out invasive species - their goals are long-term, focused on significant changes to environmental and ecological conditions.

Gotcha! Because yeah, this is a Harbringer Week and I figure people are going to try to do something with that

I may have to use "investigators are invasive species" logic at some point later down the road.

annnnnd RNG has decided that it's a Snowstorm, probably in an attempt to get a hibernation/rest cycle to happen if that's okay?

What would someone have to do to get the attention of a Harbringer? Because I'm sure folks will eventually try something.

Other than self-defense if attacked anyway, because that seems the most obvious.

Harbingers in Harbinger-mode can perceive the motion and action of people, but have trouble assigning meaning to it or matching a single action to a specific individual. To a Harbinger, a person doing a thing is a raincloud sending down a drop of rain. Determining which drop made your arm wet is impossible; but spreading an umbrella - a disproportionate reaction to one individual but a sensible one to alter the environment.

so.... something like interface/merge or a Arcana Skill (Entropy and various Auras come to mind) used on them/the area they're in would be big enough to grab their attention but something less that that would be a vague annoyance that would call for the Umbrella Approach?

I'm just trying to figure out where that line is on things considering Travelers have a pretty ridiculous level of power/ability sometimes.

That seems about right!

Alternately: they might be able to realize from environmental interactions that someone is likely to be present, but would not be able to discern them as individuals or hear their responses. A Harbinger might talk to people the way you talk to a dark hallway when you're not sure if someone's in it.

So on the end of the person responding to them it's like accidentally responding to someone's phone call and not realizing they have a bluetooth in?

Next Question!

What color would a Harbringer show up in when using Eagle Vision?

Red = Enemy/Hostile
Gold = Target/Object of Interest
Blue = Ally

Grey/Nothing means they're unimportant which I'm pretty sure isn't applicable XD

I am guessing I can go pretty wild with what an interface/merge with the area a Harbringer is Harbringering is like?

Is assuming that the line between them and the enviroment is super thin (almost non-existent) about right?
