I'd have to wait until we're a little bit into the Jaunt to be sure, but I think the Teaboo's going to be the sort of villain where if they actually cause the death of a teenager they're going to turn themselves in. (Otherwise he would've just, y'know, killed the PM instead of disguising him.)

That having been said, the tournament itself might be a way to do it! With all the cheating happening, and I think I read somewhere the later weeks start going more dangerous Triwizard-y, there's probably opportunity for an accidental death in there! ...which Teaboo would then 100% use as reason to seize power away from the school, because really how irresponsible are they to allow a child to die on the grounds? More reason he should expedite his plan to take control. (---Which also means we'll be wanting to hit up our Headmistress to see if they're okay with it too, because a student dying will be something she'll have to deal with.)

tl;dr: I think Yakkimort would turn himself in if he managed to kill a teenager, which I also suspect might pre-emptively click one of the Jaunt's win conditions into place, and I don't want to do that in the early plotting stages. And also I don't quite know yet what sort of character, exactly, he's going to pan out to be so can't commit him one way or another in this one.

...on the flipside if her death doesn't happen in this Jaunt, in the next Jaunt we can definitely plan for either regular Yakki or his next Infiltration to need to assassinate her. Regular Yakki can handle justified murders.

...that's a really cool idea, with the teaboo trying to spin the death into a scandal to seize control :|9 obviously we need to see what actually happens first, but I could totally work with that.
