We can definitely see how it plays out in threading! Regular Yakumo has absolutely no patience for annoying people, but Yakkimort will have to grit his teeth and bear it For The Greater Good. Annoy away, Leo! I imagine that Teaboo would have no problem in using copious amounts of flattery, and he'll probably also make some appeals to Leo's pride to try to get him on board. In the sort of style of 'He knows you can do it, Leo; you don't need their help, you've never needed their help. Isn't it about time they learned that?'. Do you think something like that would float?

I've been thinking about it, and it would work to start off with, but after a certain point would come up against teenage pride/rebellion/'I don't need anyone's help to do this!' I think it's a pretty delicate balance to hit the right amount of flattery without falling into what a teenager would see as pity/trying too hard, which is why it's so hard to figure out which way he'll fall. He's certainly not going to be morally opposed because what are morals can you eat them.

I think the balance is more likely to fall on the side of it working to start off with, and then reaching a point where it becomes too much and tips over into Leo deciding that Yakumo is being annoying. Which also sounds like fun to me, but what do you think?

That sounds great to me! I love the idea of Leo 'growing out of' Yakumo's meddling. And then when it happens, we can see where it all goes from there?

Awesome! Sounds like a plan!

If we do go down the kidnapping route, Kitty's player and I were talking and said it would be funny if she ends up saving him by setting fire to him because apparently that's how she saves people now
