....lmao and if Kelly and Phillip end up deciding that they want to be adopted by Leopold's family they'd even have an in with the aristocracy.

alternatively if we go through with a reveal we could do it so that the "let's set the PM on fire" thing was a distraction to start with, spearheaded by Kelly and Phillip, while Fionn is setting up the great reveal? Kelly's and Phillip's job was just to somehow get Edward on the stage at the right moment. Or something :|9

there was some joking about Phillip one day deciding to become a Dark Lord all on his own. if Kelly did that too and Edward in 10 years winds up having to deal with both of them as rival Dark Magicians, he may just hand himself in.



jk he'd just kidnap them back and forth in an endless cycle. that's what you do with friends/rivals, right? kidnap them?

I think we're all a little stuck on how a reveal might work, for right now! Maybe something for all of us to sleep on a bit, or maybe even something we'll need to wait and see the mingle? It might give us some good ideas.

and tbh Kelly doesn't have enough of a moral compass to keep her from becoming a true chaotic neutral dark magician, so this would totally work for her

Honestly the most logical path that I see this progressing down right now is the orphans deciding to team up with Edward and prod at his plans with sticky fingers a lot but let's see what the mingle brings and how everyone else thinks.

Fionn is almost definitely too True Good to join Edward, but it's been pointed out on Plurk that if Phillip and Kelly join Edward that it's actually a really cool way of being like, "in the end it turns out there really was just 1 True Orphan of Destiny, destined to challenge the Dark Magician". which i think is a really cool thought

also Edward's plans could use a lot of looking over. He's not bad at them he's just very convoluted. he would benefit a strangely large amount from Phillip and Kelly picking them apart

Maybe the grand big finale thing could be Fionn trying to set up a reveal and Phillip and Kelly stopping him? Maybe specifically citing that they know that Edward just set it up to somehow make them look bad and potentially blame everything on them and get them into serious legal trouble (even if the serious legal trouble is just that they'd get expelled, but that would be enough of a problem for three kids in the system to not want to have to deal with them, probably). Maybe also pointing out that Edward's plans are so convoluted that he'd never get anywhere with them, anyway.

I've gotta head to bed, but Bookie will hopefully wake up and see this soon and then maybe also have some ideas/input to chuck in. maybe the end reveal is simply just Edward, Kelly, and Phillip landing on stage in a hot air balloon stylized with a union jack and flying off again with the PM in tow. maybe Phillip impersonates the PM this time. maybe they put the PM in disgu

out of strikeouts because what if edward puts the PM in disguise and puts him in the maze disguised as like, a terribly dangerous-looking lion or something

Kelly wouldn't reveal any allegiance with the dark magician any time soon. Perhaps never. She wants to finish school at Majesty's as a normal student, she wants to keep her friends just the same, she likes the idea of perhaps getting a family, etc.

But she'd work with Edward in secret if Phillip does, because A. big brother and B. this sounds like fun.
