Elsewhere U Plot Role Info
If you are not a plot infiltrator or someone with IC reasons to share knowledge available to plot infiltrators, please do not read the comments of this post.
If you ARE a plot infiltrator, please comment under your toplevel to let us know you've read it; please also pop over here to announce your plotroleishness to the game at large. We prefer that you do any confidential plotting with other plot-important folks in the comments here, rather than on plurk, and please comment no later than September 17, 25, October 3, 11, 19 & 27 with a brief (as brief as 1 sentence; as long as you like) summary of your activity during the week & plans for next week. These comments will help the mods shape mingles and plot events to keep the story dynamic and player actions important to the outcome. Likewise, comment at any time with any questions you may have, and a mod will get back to you within 36 hours at the outside.

Bodyguard - Mikasa
The Bodyguard has enrolled before arrival. Their mission's orders are to get to know the school and keep an eye on the Royal, bearing in mind that their relative disappeared mysteriously already. It's up to you how Involved you want the Bodyguard to be. They're one of the roles who has less predetermined starting stats and more freedom to go wherever the plot or their arc takes them.
As soon as information is given to you, reveal it in your plotting or threading at will unless otherwise told not to.
Skill: Read the Room - Ability to look out at a room of people and accurately gauge who is and isn't likely to be a threat, or capable at hand-to-hand combat, within a 20-foot radius.

She'll be human for now, may change to Other during the jaunt since I had plans for that before the plot role switch but then it's like another way to disguise herself...
I'm thinking she is either only somewhat Involved or as Involved as she can be in the beginning??? Not that she tells that to anyone if she can avoid it and pretends like she has no idea that Fae even exist. She'll be like suspicious about things without showing that on her poker face either while she gets to know the school and more about everything.
I'll think of names and get her into the jaunt when I'm more awake!

Include this information in your Week 2 toplevel: The Royal has been instructed to keep in frequent contact with home in very specific ways in return for her relative lack of bodily security. The Changeling who has replaced her does not know this, and the Royal's phone left untouched in the dorm is wild with missed messages.

This week was a slow start of which I apologize. She went to talk with the Royal and she met Tijan (Jean's overlay)... Maybe I'll backdate stuff too, we'll see.
Anyway, quietly moving in, going along on the school tour (+ getting a more insightful tour from Tijan maybe as a thank you when his bullies left him alone bc she walked in) ... So nothing really bad happening on the first week, quietly getting to know the school and things.
I'll be sure to include that to her toplevel which I'll also get out earlier than my first one...! Surely the royal fam has nothing to worry about, their girl is just busy with new school and forgot to report... (more like all the reasons to worry about everything!)
There will also be a log where she gets bitten by Tijan the werewolf for more things for her to deal with. Though her wolf change won't be happening until the next full moon -- which will be later than this jaunt lasts -- and she'll try to hide that bite as much as she can in a place like this.

If she wants to reassure the royal family, she has the power to do so. For a little while, anyway. XD Let me know if she contacts the family as herself, or impersonates Alayne on her phone.

Ahahah, I think she'd try as herself first to see how well that goes... but of course that could lead to them wanting to talk to Alayne themselves during that same call and she'd pretend to be her then.
I mean she'd probably also hope that it would go like a call with her is enough this time even if they'd say they want to talk to Alayne next time... Because that would at least give her more time to prepare (and maybe give more time for me and Sam to tag between them on the first week, maybe that will help her with pretending) but she also realizes that that might be too optimistic, so whatever works for us! XD

week 3: You and a few head members of staff receive a message that Easteros will send a special agent (Safe Name: Agent Web) to briefly check in with their secret bodyguard and confirm Alayne's well-being at the college. Unlike your undercover identity, Agent Web introduces himself to anyone as exactly what he is in order to get special visitor's privileges. He strolls around campus, poking his Uninvolved nose everywhere. He is bog-standard human, smooth, and unsettlingly competent, keeping up a steady stream of communication with Easteros on his smartphone.
His presence is a nightmare for Involved staff and students alike, exactly the kind of attention Fae and EU don't want. Not-Alayne will need all the help she can get to pass herself off as the true Alayne. It's possible to do stuff in the Elsewhere if you want, but leaving Agent Web to his own devices for long isn't wise. Best to convince him everything is fine and get him to leave asap.

... Hello Agent Web, Argentum will surely try to convince him to leave asap, everything's just fine here. Sounds like fun for me, not so fun for her! She'll try to more or less secretly babysit his Uninvolved nose, wouldn't want him to ruin her 'everything's fine' statements by him getting into trouble... not sure how well she expects that babysitting to work but she'll try at least!

according to the movie Men in Black. I saw that my mingles as written weren't doing that enough to convince players they should care. Really, other than Agent Web, she can do whatever she wants! Probably rest lol. The school nurse's office is used to treating animal bites, there's a forest right there... I'm really enjoying your player plot tbh, so have fun backtagging that and take it easy. You're doing just fine.no subject
I'm glad you're enjoying it, I'm sure she went to see the nurse one way or another pretty soon that night. She also met Lyall/Lupin on week 2 as part of the whole werewolf thing but that is a thread still waiting for me, I'll get there today but so far she has been building CR without letting anyone know who she is / what she is here for and I am not planning to change that in whatever threads happen in backtags.
Resting is probably a really good idea unless she did that too last week, then she would feel bad for more rest this week with Web around too! XD We'll see what happens with him, me and Rika talked a bit too and we will see how things roll... Argentum will try to avoid panic happening / escalating, I'm looking forward to whatever happens and gonna hit him up right after this.
Also I really love how you're running these weekly plot important check-ins by giving things to do/include next week!♥

Week 4
Final mingle: Alayne has been found and returned to campus, so that should be a relief to Argentum, and maybe she can enjoy the Festival properly lol. The identity of Anna Monday as Alayne's sister may be of interest to her? So far, only Red (Chloe), the rescue party, and anyone they told knows. Not sure if Alayne knows. At any rate, now they're all conveniently back on campus.
Re: Week 4
She'll go enjoy that festival next week! And yes good to Alayne being rescued, she'll really be able to enjoy next week then and not worry about anything... Sounds like she'll have some fun and relaxing time for real, maybe she will blend in like a normal student perfectly this time lol.
Actually apparently I forgot to say here, so sorry for belated update on this, but she has a thread with Red on week 3 for something about that connection while they were trying to convince Alayne to come down to the shop for a visit... but things about that connection wherever it comes up are interesting info to Argentum yes, probably also a way to make her feel bad for not having helped during the rescue mission or anything while she has been busy with other things but she'll get over it!
