Role in current universe: Gryphon knight!
Backstory/Description of new identity: Pals around with Tim and tends to let him do most of the talking, partly because he's better at it and partly because she tends to be more morally grey about things than he is. Without a partner (Tim) to follow she could have easily fallen in with any of the other groups, but she's good with following Tim around.

She's also been known to hang around with Ezio Auditore because why the hell not right?
Significant changes in personality/mannerisms: She can speak normally for this! Her stilted speaking pattern comes from not learning to speak until very recently and with a new backstory that doesn't apply. After the jaunt, anyone she interacts with is free to notice this and bring it up to her!
Kinds of CR/RP scenarios you're looking for with this plot: Knight bro cr! Maybe she gave your characters extra help with swording or was someone they could turn to just to talk, anything is possible! She's definitely the type to risk her life to save anyone no matter WHO they are, so if you'd like to say that Cass did that for your character I am totally up for it!
Anything Else/: Her body language reading will stay the same, just explained as some sort of weird magic thing she does that she keeps hidden from most people. As always, her permissions post for that is here!

So, they got their start as squires to the Dark Knight, one assumes? XD I don't know how much we want to plot and how much we want to improv, but I am good with either.

I'm good with winging it for the most part, but it wouldn't hurt to have some backstory built up. Maybe at first she resented him a little for having a closer relationship to Mister Dark Knight, but that faded into friendship and now they're just bros for life.

whereas he envied her superior skill with lance and sword, and tried to be more of a show-off as a result, but that gave them a dynamic that actually really works well?

And then things went all explodybad and Cass was like well shit now what I guess I'll just stick with Tim that seems easy enough

they're only at the tournament because upkeep on knightly gear isn't cheap, and the prizes are a nice way to refill their pockets, since Cass kicks almost everyone's butt. I mean, Tim kicks butt too, but he probably spends more time convincing people to bet on her opponents to up the odds.
