"Greetings," a quiet voice rasps, and a heavily bandaged figure in a tattered coat is suddenly present, standing just across the island, on the other side of the hammock. Not an inch of skin is visible, and the figure's even, unblinking stair is mildly disturbing.
The voice already makes him jump, but as he turns around the only possible reaction to seeing a fully bandaged man and his stare is: "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGHHH!?!"
The scream goes on for a good while before the boy eventually goes silent... and pulls his hat on his face in a failed attempt at hiding. "D-Don't hurt me..."
Kazuichi's about to beg again, but the words throw him off and he just stares at the man for a moment. "Y-You're agreeing just like that? What's the catch? You can't just agree to something that a stranger asks so easily!"
"Myself and my colleagues... but I am the one who chose you to represent me. We seek to see ourselves reflected in the cosmos... and so, I wish you to be yourself."
The figure studies him a moment in polite incomprehension. Then a light dawns in his eyes, and he chuckles. "You may call me Don Orlea. Your traveling companions, I suspect, will tell you what that means."
Kazuichi frowns. That name definitely doesn't ring a bell to him. Then again, he doesn't have much knowledge on their hosts anyway, since he wasn't that long around before being dumped into a dungeon.
"I'd rather hear answers from you, since you dragged me to this island in the first place."
"Are you guys going around claiming Travelers now?" Things have changed since he's been gone. This wasn't something that was a thing before. At least so that he paid attention. "What approach?"
