Pearl's eyes are wide as she appears in the room, very disoriented from the sudden change. She... kind of feels like this might be back in that, um, Liminal Space? But it feels different somehow. "Hello?" she ventures cautiously into the room, stepping forward and looking over the teacup, "Oh! I-it's floating! Like magic!"
"Like magic," a bright, vivacious voice stresses, and a swirl of golden light coalesces into a humanoid being, golden-robed and masked, with skin made of white porcelain, though still as flexible as skin. "My greetings to you, child."
Pearl startles when the being appears, automatically taking a step back. That's-- that doesn't look even close to anyone she's ever seen before. "Hello..." she says, voice cautious even though she feels as if she should be polite, "...Who are you?"
"I am very pleased to meet you as well," he says. "You've been brought here to help me - and so, I wanted to give you a chance to ask me questions before sending you out into the wider worlds."
"The kaws-moes?" Pearl's not quite sure she understands, but she's doing her best. "So... you would change the world? How are you going to do that? What kind of world would yours be like?"
"Oh...! That does sound lovely..." Pearl smiles just thinking about it. She... she does know, that the world doesn't work out like that all the time. But she believes that it could, if everyone just tried really hard, and if this person wants to do that too...! "Um, I don't know what I can do to help, but I'll try my best!"
"Right!" Pearl stands up a little straighter, reassured. If they try really hard, then it can't not work, right? She's sure if she just does her very best it will turn out right.
"Um..." Pearl thinks for a moment, trying to remember what little she knows of Liminal Space. There is one question she remembers having that no one else could answer for her. "Will I get to go home after we're done? Mystic Maya and Mr. Nick are probably really worried..."

And just like that, she's back in Liminal Space.
