Clementine has been on edge since she arrived in this strange world and being brought to a strange room does not change that. She spins round slowly, taking in her surroundings. She does not relax for a minute.
As she completes a full turn, she'll discover she's not alone in the room - on one of the yoga mats is a lean yearling wolf with snow-white fur and startling cyan eyes, watching her patiently.
Clementine jumps back when she sees the wolf, her mind racing back to the dog she'd met years ago, the one she'd had to kill. Somehow, though she can't explain why, she has a feeling that this animal isn't anything like the poor mutt.
