He's up in an instant, immediately on guard, looking around for the source of the voice - whisper? Sound? Either way, it takes a couple seconds before he looks up and sees... something. Or someone. They aren't human, that's for certain, but what they actually are is unknown.
"Who are you?" he asks, his heart practically pounding out of his chest. "Are you responsible for my presence here at the moment?"
"Lune," they say. "That is the name I am most commonly addressed by. And yes, actually, I am. I wished to see what someone like you, someone with situational awareness of his own alternate timelines, might see if he gazed into my mirror."
"I am so happy to know I amused you." Of course he isn't. Actually, it's pretty creepy. Still, he does glance at the floor. "But... then it's true? These things I see, these flashes, these memories. They really are different timelines?" On the one hand, at least that means he's not crazy. On the other hand, that's still kind of insane.
"I... I see." He grips his scarf a little tighter. So he could have saved everybody. And yet he didn't.
"I do not understand why it started. I do not see myself as an unusual person otherwise. It just... started, and still occurs." He closes his eyes for a moment, then shakes his head. "At any rate, I suppose your curiosity is sated now?"
That is... not something he particularly wants to hear from some sort of omnipotent being. "What do you mean by that?" he asks, sweat beading on the back of his neck.
...Ugh. "I would much rather be returned to Liminal Space, thank you. That is, if your business is finished with me." He has enough to think about right now without dealing with ANOTHER Arcana, even if it is technically his own.

Of course, due to her imperfect understanding of linear time, she drops him off a few days later than she picked him up, but that happens sometimes.
