"This 'marking' or 'claiming' process, I presume?" Haru asks carefully and simply.

"That's right," she says. "Mm. And I like that you gave me two options."

"I've heard plenty of different perspectives on what happens already," she says. "Though I wouldn't be surprised if I'm missing a whole lot more."

"Does it bother you, dealing with unknowns?"

"It simply means I have to work harder to uncover what they are," Haru says with a bit of a smile.

"And you intend to uncover everything unknown?"

"...The things that need to be," she says after a pause. "Some people need their secrets."
