Bakura blinks once, looking utterly clueless and confused. This whole suddenly being somewhere else thing wasn't supposed to still be happening without the Ring, and yet--

The thought drops suddenly as he actually takes in the details of his location, and his face lights up (literally) in wonder. "Uwwaaa! So cool!"

And then he's rushing over to peer at the floating cup, trying to figure out if it's a trick or really floating.

It's no trick. As he ascertains that, the glow in the room grows brighter, and a gold-clad figure in a porcelain mask, with no skin showing whatsoever, will descend from the ceiling to stand across from him.

"Greetings." The voice is warm, just slightly more masculine than androgynous.

The teen looked up, blinking a few times.

"...did I die again?" he asked after a moment's pause, more curious than anything else. Amane was going to be mad at him, if so. After she had yelled at him the first time... and this wouldn't have even been a cool death, like that one had been! He hadn't even been doing anything, this time! Disappointing...

"You? I don't believe so. We can call the dead when we wish, but in your case we did not."

[shiromadoushi]

"Aaa, that's good! I would have thought I would remember if that happened!" Bakura smiled warmly. "Who are you?"

[powersthatare]

"I am called SOL," the figure responds, with a courteous but shallow bow. "I am the Sun, and I have chosen you to represent me on your journey through the worlds we are sending you to."

[shiromadoushi]

Bakura returns the bow with a matching one before blinking a few times. "Represent you?" he repeated.

...Was this the start of an RPG? Cause it sounded like the start of an RPG.

"To spread my ideas throughout the worlds, by being who and what you are," he clarifies.

[shiromadoushi]

"Your ideas?" Bakura repeated again, curiosity growing. "What ideas are those?"

[powersthatare]

"Radiance. Truth. Optimism. Energy. Assurance. Splendor. Enthusiasm." he recites the words with quiet fervor.

[shiromadoushi]

Bakura couldn't help but smile at the list. "Sounds like something Yuugi-kun would have been perfect for," he laughed. Especially considering the other Yuugi being god on Earth and all that. "But I'll do my best!"
