If you are not a plot infiltrator or someone with IC reasons to share knowledge available to plot infiltrators, please do not read the comments of this post.

We prefer that you do any confidential plotting with other plot-important folks in the comments here, rather than on plurk, and please comment no later than September 17, 25, October 3, 11, 19 & 27 with a brief (as brief as 1 sentence; as long as you like) summary of your activity during the week & plans for next week. These comments will help the mods shape mingles and plot events to keep the story dynamic and player actions important to the outcome. Changeling/Royal Scion - Sansa
Propose the name of a fictitious country of origin for the Royal. The part of the United States known as New England to us (the players) is its own country here, and is where the Royal travels to attend Elsewhere U. It is bordered by various other nations to the north, west, and south, and the Atlantic Ocean to the east. The Royal is all the more precious because their relative disappeared mysteriously years ago. (See: Anna Monday) The Royal (or their family) has taken care of enrollment before arrival. The first mingle is the only chance for everyone to meet the Royal before they go missing. Most likely the Royal will not be seen until late or at Jaunt's end.
The Changeling's reason for not leaving is up to the player, but it should be one compelling enough to prompt all this. Following the orders of a Court member whose name they are forbidden to speak, working for a more powerful Fae who has kidnapped Royal for their own reasons, choosing to live as human royalty forever, losing a high-stakes Deal, etc. The rescue's results will determine both your characters' final decision on the Royal/Changeling conundrum. If the Royal is indeed brought back, the Changeling will have to, at the least, leave off their lookalike Glamour.
Your main plot involvement may pick up during the last leg of the rescue as its results come in. As soon as information is given to you, reveal it in your plotting or threading at will unless otherwise told not to.
Skill: Contractual Obligation - Sign a contract with a witness present, and you are bound by it until it is fulfilled. Null if it asks for the impossible. Can be used to remember to turn off the stove, or keep a secret forever no matter what may happen. (Consult with Miso here when using Contractual Obligation or its effects, as it could affect the Jaunt in interesting ways.)

Include this information in your top level in week 2: Alayne has been instructed to keep in frequent contact with home in very specific ways in return for her relative lack of bodily security. The Changeling who has replaced her does not know this, and Alayne's phone left untouched in her room is wild with missed messages. The Changeling doesn't leave like others do when asked politely. While a dick move, they are well within their rights. The Changeling may Deal and gamble for information, objects, etc. at their leisure, but switching back with the Royal is currently off the table.
ETA: This Changeling can be called Not-Alayne in narration and out loud by any character savvy enough to notice what's wrong, as per EU tradition. Of course, the Changeling will still pretend to be Alayne and give their Safe Name as Alayne.

Easteros will send a special agent (Safe Name: Agent Web) to briefly check in with their secret bodyguard, Argentum, and confirm Alayne's well-being at the college. Agent Web introduces himself as exactly what he is in order to get special visitor's privileges. He strolls around campus, poking his Uninvolved nose everywhere. He is bog-standard human, smooth, and unsettlingly competent, keeping up a steady stream of communication with Easteros on his smartphone. His presence is a nightmare for Involved staff and students alike, exactly the kind of attention Fae and EU don't want. Not-Alayne will need all the help she can get to pass herself off as the true Alayne. Or maybe she will ignore the warnings and not care about the school being in an international incident, up to you.

Anna Monday will be present when Alayne is found. The sisters will be reunited, though I’m not sure if Anna Monday will have all its complete memories at that time. That depends on whether or not anyone wants to steal the shards containing its memories from the crows this week.
Week 4
It looks like a few Investigators are getting the Anna Monday shards from the crows in week 4, but they are still ICly thinking about whether to return them to Anna Monday. So far they’ve kept this info to themselves.
Final mingle: No special instructions really! There will be a festival for Alayne to enjoy if she's up for it. She has the opportunity to get closure with Anna Monday. Maybe ask the teachers, librarians, etc. for help with making up her missing homework lol. Post-Jaunt her family is a little Unsure about EU at the moment, not because of any knowledge of the supernatural, but because there just seem to be a lot of hijinks, according to Agent Web.
